This leads to a series of calamities that affect not only Tolbane but also his friend, Detective Parnell, who served with him in Vietnam, ultimately resulting in kidnapping, murder, and the tragic loss of Tolbane's first love.
Author Harold Morrison brings his twenty years of military service and personal experiences to breathe life into this gripping narrative. He was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, and joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. His multiple assignments, including two tours in the Republic of Vietnam, add authenticity and depth to the story.
After his retirement in 1973, Morrison moved with his family to Florida City, Florida, where he continued to serve his community, both in security and as a teacher. He also gave back to fellow veterans through his active involvement with various Veterans Service Organizations. Morrison's commitment to supporting veterans and their families is evident in his efforts, such as the Field of Flags initiative.
