Educated in the United States, Dr. Jones received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria in 2001. He then went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas (Houston Medical Center Branch), and his fellowship in pain medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he trained under his mentor, Dr. Allen W. Burton, MD. He also received extensive training in cancer and non-cancer pain management.

Active in his field, Dr. Jones is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, the Spine Intervention Society, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Specializing in innovative, minimally invasive pain treatments and surgeries, he is affiliated with HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center, HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center, and HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center.

Pain management is a branch of medicine employing an interdisciplinary approach to easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain. A pain management specialist is a doctor who specializes in pain medicine, focusing on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of pain.

Throughout his line of work, Dr. Jones has made numerous presentations related to cancer and non-cancer pain and its treatment. He has also lectured on many topics that include: SCS, intrathecal pump management, complex regional pain syndrome, celiac plexus block, and phantom limb pain.

Outside of The Pain Center of Arizona, he loves spending time with his family and greatly looks forward to catching any Phoenix Suns game he can.
