Specializing in hand & upper extremity rehabilitation, she conducts custom OT evaluations for all ages with a focus on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) & independent functionality. Finally, she received her Hand & Upper Quarter Rehabilitation Certification from Drexel University in 2015.
Always looking for new challenges & populations to rehabilitate, she is licensed in both New York and New Jersey (formerly licensed in Florida, Rhode Island, and Connecticut), and is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She has practiced her rehabilitating craft for 23 rewarding years, and can also work independently as a Medicare Provider.
Occupational therapy is a unique practice under rehabilitation medicine, with close ties to physiatry and orthopedics, that combines physical, mental, emotional, and vocational treatment techniques to maximize patient independence to achieve higher functionality.
On a more personal note, Sally is fluent in both English and Spanish. She attributes her success to education, exposure, flexibility, willingness, and open minded. In her free time, she enjoys water paddle boarding, swimming, and playing racquetball and badminton. Her favorite place to vacation is Hudson, New York.
