San Francisco, California May 10, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - With more and more tech companies making headlines for consumer trust & safety issues, the tech industry is coming together to explore innovative solutions to mitigate risks and protect their customers.

Converging in San Francisco next week (May 16-18, 2023), 700+ tech platforms will convene at the first and only tech event focused on risk management, trust & safety and legal strategy in order to learn, network and exchange best practices and industry trends.

The Marketplace Risk Management Conference, presented by Incognia and Sittercity, attracts marketplace and digital platform founders and leaders who want to learn from their peers as well as innovative solution providers, subject matter experts and firms that are at the cutting edge of solving some of technology's biggest challenges.

This year, there will be a renewed sense of urgency as the tech industry seeks to build trust with users and find the best ways to make the internet a safer place for all. From social media to gaming, dating sites to search engines, and marketplaces to sharing economy platforms, no corner of the virtual world is off limits when it comes to making it a safer place.

Marketplace Risk Founder Jeremy Gottschalk says, "In such an innovative and disruptive industry, it's vital that leaders share their experiences and expertise with the community in order to elevate and improve trust & safety for everyone. We're excited to welcome so many experienced founders and operators, and for them to share with the industry."

In all, over 70 peer-led sessions will be presented by industry leaders from Amazon, Care.com, DoorDash, eBay, eharmony, Etsy, Google, HopSkipDrive, HyreCar, Instacart, Instawork, Lime, Mastercard, Match Group, McFadyen Digital, Nextdoor, OfferUp, Outdoorsy, Peerspace, RVShare, Shipt, Sittercity, StockX, Thumbtack, TikTok, Turo, Uber, Udemy, Upwork, UrbanSitter, uShip, Wish, Zipcar, and many more.

Professor Eric Goldman of Santa Clara University School of Law will kick off the event with his keynote, How the Internet Improves Humanity. An expert in Internet law, intellectual property and advertising & marketing law, he is widely known for his thought-provoking and insightful analysis of legal issues that have been driven by the digital age.
