With the understanding that getting dental implants is a big decision, filled with apprehension and uncertainty, "Imagine Your Smile" offers a first-rate solution: Digital Smile Design. This new provision allows patients to customize their treatment to design their dream smile and see what the end result may look like before they even proceed.

The Digital Smile Design process begins with a consultation where a treatment plan is customized after an in-depth discussion of the patient’s smile goals and apprehensions. Once completed, the team will take digital photos and videos of the patient’s face as they talk, smile, and laugh. This allows digitally created new teeth to be superimposed over the existing ones, providing a clear visual of the treatment effects.

"Imagine Your Smile" uses digital photography to custom-match the shade of the restored teeth with the patient’s existing ones. Then, utilizing an intra-oral scanner (IOS), they scan the patient’s teeth and jaws and use a facial scanner for the face in its entirety. This data is then combined to produce a virtual image of the patient.

The IOS scan also allows for a detailed replication of the patient’s teeth, which is 3D printed in-office. With IOS scanning, there are fewer errors and uncertainties as the dental team can re-scan and re-plan before the final implant stage.

The clinic uses the Digital Smile Design software for both its restorative and cosmetic services. Whether the patient is getting crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, full-mouth dental implants, or a smile makeover, the software helps them see their new smile before treatments begin.
