On Time Garage Door Repair Trades Wrenches for Trash Bags on Coastal Cleanup Day
The Hallandale Beach garage door and gate company hits the sand September 19 for International Coastal Cleanup Day -- and is offering free tune-ups to fellow volunteers.
Hallandale Beach, FL (PRUnderground) August 18th, 2026
The team at On Time Garage Door Repair spends most days fixing springs, openers, and stubborn electric gates. On Saturday, September 19, they're tackling a different kind of jam: litter on the Hallandale Beach shoreline. In honor of International Coastal Cleanup Day, the company's technicians will swap their tool belts for trash grabbers and join local volunteers cleaning the beach that morning.
"We drive past this beach every single day on the way to service calls -- it's part of our office view, honestly," said owner Michael Torres. "Our whole business is about keeping things running smoothly, and that shouldn't stop at garage doors. The coastline deserves a tune-up too."
To sweeten the deal, On Time Garage Door Repair is offering a free garage door tune-up (a $89 value) to any Broward County resident who volunteers at a registered cleanup event on September 19. To redeem, customers simply show a photo of themselves at the cleanup when booking a service appointment between September 19 and October 3. One redemption per household; standard service area applies.
Residents who want to join the crew on the sand -- or who just want their garage door to stop sounding like a haunted house -- can call On Time Garage Door Repair or visit the company's website to book. Look for the team in the branded blue shirts. They'll be the ones racing to see who fills a trash bag fastest.
